I am writing this editorial on May 31, 1999.
I was at the bugorama yesterday in Sacramento California. Man are people
VW crazy around show season! The atmosphere at the bugorama was totally awesome.
I suggest that any of you who do enjoy VW's need to see some Drag Racing with them.
It's just too awesome. This month, I really feel this is the best issue of Brock's VW Magazine there has ever been. There is approximately 19 articles in this issue. We added some new sections such as the NEWS section and the THE BOX section. Both of these sections will help to complete the magazine. Boy did the two months between this issue and the last issue help. It really helped round out the magazine. I did not feel very good about the APRIL/MAY issue, and so I worked extra hard on this issue. I also have some people to thank for their hard work, such as New Zealand's Bart Acres, and Guif from the VIRTUALBEETLEMUSEUM.COM. Both of these guys are talented. Remember, if you want to contribute a couple of articles toward vwmagazine.com, you will get a free Brock's VW Magazine Online t-shirt. We should have the t-shirts in two weeks, just in time for the VWCLASSIC in Irvine starting June 12.
For the first time in my life, I actually have a VW that runs!!!
I featured my own 62 ragtop in this issue, called " PURPLE PASSION ". I hope you will
take a look at it and let me know what you think. Not bad for 5 Grand ?
