Veedubbin' in France
part III

Just before the show started on thursday, the magazine inaugurated their new headquarter, the occasion for all the readers to see where was built their favourite magazine, some of their project were also exposed, including the 1949 restoration project started 12 years ago and stopped due to a lack of room to work, one of the reason they moved in their new headquarter is that they'll be able to make technical articles and all the readers are hardly in the hope of that.
During the three days of show, the village of lège became a kind of VWland, you could see beetles, Karmann, combi and buggies everywhere, at the supermarket, in restaurants, gas stations, on the beaches, and the spectacle was really awesome.
As everybody knows, the VW styles have been imported for most of them from America, and to be exact from California, and in France 50% of the cars are modified in a Cal-look way or old School style using specific accessories of these tendancies, 25% are restored or in original conditions and 25% are undefined. If there was a french look, it would be a car with modern wheels, preferably porsche 993 or 996, a dynamic color scheme with a large inspiration from racing cars.
The pictures below will give an idea of what I mean by french look, this tendancy is leaded by french preparators based in the south of France known as T-fab's or Téo'z Racing and their original work is getting an audience over all the french territory.
