 This was one of the season's kickers for KD motorsports, the promoters who put on VWs on the Move. Ken Davis is the proprietor of the show, and he was happy to have us cover it. Ken gave us free admission and booth space ( thanks Ken! ). Well the show is always beautiful at the fairgrounds in Vallejo. Right next door to it is the new Marine World & six flags, a 3 minute walk away. The shows are always shady with lots of trees, and the temperature is just about right. It was a good show overall. Ken also puts on the winter show at the Vallejo Fairgrounds for the VW Parts swap. It has been growing the past couple of years, and it is in January. Look for this one if you live in Northern California.

 Getting to this show was somewhat of an adventure for me and my girlfriend. We traveled from Redding California, about 3 hours north of Vallejo. On the way there we had car problems, some major car problems. Some of you probley remember us smoking into the fairground parking lot ( that was us ! ). Luckily we made it home okay and the engine held out. The swap meet was pretty much dead by noon time, and there was not too many goodies left, like weber carbs. Enjoy the rest of the pictures. Below the picture of our booth was the pushing contests, the crowd liked this event. It looked like a lot of fun.  OUR BOOTH!
