Over the past few years, numerous people have been getting their " BIRTH CERTIFICATE" from Volkswagen of Germany through snail mail. Here is an example of a birth certificate below, so you can see for yourself what they look like.
Seamus Quillinan has been a reader of this magazine for a while, here is the birth certificate he recieved from vw-ag.
To get your own Birth Certificate :
Send your VIN number and 10,- DM to
the museum accepts CASH in the equivalent of 10 DM as payment,
so there is no need to get currency changed.
Dr. Bernd Wiersch (the head of the Museum) says to allow 4 weeks for processing.
