Curry Racing is ran by two guys who really enjoy going around a track in a vw bug. Charlie Curry, the driver has been very successful over the past five years in his racing adventures. Charlie liked our magazine so much he decided to put our website address on his car, and we liked his oval track racing so much we decided to give him his own official website & feature. I have never seen any oval track racing around where I live in California. Charlie won the circuit back in 1996, and plans on having another good year.

The car features an engine built by Charlie himself. He has a small machine shop set up in the basemant at his fathers house. The motor consists of a 1835cc's stock crank, rods, uses stock flywheel and pressure plate. He also does the head work himself. The Carb is a 350cfm carb from holley ! The suspension is basically stock using stock shocks and brakes. Front are disc wheels are made by diamond they are steel but that is required size is 13 x 7 that is required too ! Tires are Hoosier super tds which are basically dot type racing tire.
Overall, it is one trick VW. It sure would be a lot of fun to hop in it and circle it around the track !
