Volkswagen Toys, Models, and More
People Kars was started 5 years ago when Frank Konisky turned
his hobby of selling VW parts at swap meets to collecting VW toys. Frank
wanted to find the VW toys and models not commonly found in the USA. He made
connections all over the world, buying in quantity he started selling some
to pay for the ones he kept. That is how People Kars came to be. Over time,
more and more people have come into the VW toy world. Frank says that with
the introduction of the New Beetle, business has been doing very well, but
cannot survive only on VW enthusiasts. People Kars also sells Porsche, Audi,
and a great collection of German Microcars like; Isettas, Messerschmitts,
and Goggomobils. All related to VW considering that most came about after
the War.
The most popular and hottest selling are the New Beetle toys.
Second is usually anything to do with the type 2's, from the earliest splits,
to Vanagons, and Eurovans. There is an increasing interest in watercooled
VW models, these models are more sought after by the younger watercooled
owners generation. There is also an exclusive model, the People Kars split
window panel van made by Vitesse. Which features a lowered stance, Carrera
rims, Custom graphics including the People Kars logo and Email Address, and
a dated license plate. Only 25 were made. Other exclusives of People Kars
are the promotion models of the New Beetle, the 1:40th scale type 2 reissued
models from Wiking, and the H.O. scale BREKINA Volkswagens (Great for train
sets). Don't forget that People Kars also offers old, rare, and obsolete
models as well.
No other place can you get such a selection of VW collectible,
posters, models, remote controlled models, toys, tin signs, key fobs, license
plates, and other great stuff. If your excited about VW collectibles please
contact Frank and ask for a catalog. Trust me, you will spend hours imagining
some of those cool models on top your monitor. All reasonably priced. Don't
tell Frank, but some of his prices are about 20% cheaper than I have seen
