Welcome to Randy Carlson's TVA New Beetle Accessories. Randy has been into pre-1967 VW's for about 15 years. In his spare time he enjoys freelance writing and photographing for VW Trends. Most would think a pretty normal VW nut. Until Friday, March 13, 1998 when he bought the first New Beetle in Southern California. Needless to say, the car didn't go unnoticed. After his first and hectic week of ownership he decided to add his own touch to the car. Randy says "I started with lowering the car and adding custom wheels and exhaust. I also had the interior re-done in leather and a whole host of other mods." The car attracted even more attention. After a coast to coast trip with fellow VW nuts he knew that the car would be a hit. People loved the New Beetle. And the response to his was amazing. Randy was sure that there might just be an opportunity to start a business based on the car. TVA had it's grand opening at the VW Classic June 1998.

Ever since, the shop has grown, and has business. TVA New Beetle Accessories now has a retail location and a website where New Beetle owners and fans can outfit their cars and homes with New Beetle goodies. TVA carries a very wide variety of accessories and performance parts for the New Beetle, as well as a large selection of toys, literature and other fun stuff. The most popular items and exclusive only to TVA, have been the Billet Aluminum flower vases and the "Drivers Found" T-shirts. (get it... Drivers wanted?)

In addition to the business, Randy and a few friends have started the N.B.C. (New Beetle Club). N.B.C. is an international group of New Beetle enthusiasts. The club has a monthly newsletter as well as local and regional events. In Randy's words "There are many, many items on the horizon for the New Beetle and it is our desire, to be the place that has it all with one stop shopping for New Beetle items of all sorts and If TVA doesn't carry it, we will soon". I personally think that TVA is what we will all be rating our New Beetle Accessory shops to. Like an EMPI for the 90's. Here is more to know:
