David Davidson out of Modesto California sent us some pictures of his " BAD '64 BUG" this past month. David has invested over 8K in the car since his restoration started some time ago. It won 2nd place in the
Kelly Park show in San Jose this past April. David has owned the car for three-and a half years. He said he may even sell the car after this show season, so keep your eyes open! The door panels are also handmade by David, and so is the roof rack on top. The rear suspension is composed of a '69 IRS suspension. The paint is purple with violet pearl. What a beauty this one is. The Motor on this baby is a 1776 with dual 44mm IDF webbers. It
even has reverse linkage that David made. |
