Rockin Ron of Redding California has an absolutely beautiful '64 21 window deluxe microbus. I met Ron at Kool April Nights in Redding back in 1995. What is interesting is how Ron found the bus. He was at a local restaraunt, and saw the bus sitting outside with a $5K price tag on it, just the way you see it now. He called up the owner and they made a deal for 4K, without the porshe alloy wheels. CAN YOU SAY A STEAL ? This was one of the best deal's I have ever seen. I was in shock when Ron told me about this. |

Ron's Bus had new paint, new rubber and no rust. It was running and sports a 1600 DP motor.
The engine compartment is very clean and stock, and the bus is lowered 3.5 inches.
The only thing Ron had to do was finish the interior. The door panels came with the bus,
it needed upholstery on the front and rear seat. It was missing the middle seat.
Ron was determined to get the 3/4 seat for his 21 ( I am looking for one too if anyone has one ),
he found a local guy who had a panel, and bought the guys middle seat for $50 dollars. Once again, can you say A STEAL?
Well Ron has not done much work to the bus. I had asked him back in 1997 if he would sell me the bus.
His answer of course was " for the right price ". He never ever told me a ballpark figure. Later that year I bought my 21 window deluxe microbus.
I am still however restoring it.
